I am a super peanut-butter fan but didn't have a favorite peanut butter cookie recipe until I found these. I could make them every single day, they're so easy to make! They're my kids' go-to snack for school lunches now, too. They're so addicting you won't be able to stop at just one! #peanutbutterchocolatechipcookies #peanutbuttercookies #easycookierecipe #addictingrecipes #cookierecipe #chocolatechipcookies #quickcookies

While Joseph prefers straight up chocolate chip cookies, I’m more the adventurous type – snicker-doodle, chocolatey oatmeal, and M&M cookies all land on my super yummy list, but after we both tried these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, we immediately declared them our absolute favorite.

It’s the best of both worlds—chocolate chip with a hint of peanut butter–and a soft chewy center that won’t allow you to stop at just one!

In fact, they’re so addicting, we affectionately call them our “crack” cookies.

But we have more important things to discuss, like how to make these scrumptious cookies the next time you get the urge to turn all Martha Stewart-like. They’re perfect as an afternoon snack or late-night dessert, especially since they aren’t too rich or heavy. That is, if you don’t eat too many!

The Process

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Then beat in the egg, milk and vanilla.

Step 2: Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt into a separate bowl, mix together, and add to the creamed mixture, beating well.

Step 3: Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 4: Place dough onto a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet by tablespoon or medium-sized cookie dough scoop. Keep cookies approximately 2 inches apart.

Step 5: Bake at 375 degrees F for approximately 7-9 minutes, then pull out and let cool for a couple minutes on the pan, then transfer to wire racks to continue cooling. {But you have my permission to snitch one while they’re still warm!}

  1. These look delicious! I’ve eased off with my baking in the last few months – really need to start doing more again. I’m sure that my family will love these, as they love chocolate and peanut butter….sounds like a winning combination!
